Work It Wednesday: Safe Sun Tips

With summer in full swing, there's a million activities to be doing outside. Swimming, gardening, running, playing...I could go on & on. But regardless of what you're doing, make sure you're being safe in the sun.

Tips for Sun Safety:

•Wear sunblock. Use an SPF of 30 or greater & both UVA/UVB resistant.  Apply at least 30 minutes before heading out & re-apply every 2 hours. Be sure that you get the correct sunblock for the task at hand (like water resistant for swimming or if you sweat a lot).

• try to avoid direct sun exposure during it's peak hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

•Protect your face. Wear a hat & don't forget your sunglasses to help block those rays. (Ray-Ban anyone?)

•Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Don't forget to drink plenty of H2O.
