Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles

It's summer (even though it may not feel like it where you are), the season for cute sandals. And since I'm barely 5'4", I insist on heels most of the time. But being a SAHM of three & wearing my favorite pair of sandals all day could be likely comparable to some sort of "mom induced torture". You know what I'm talking about, when you forgo comfort for style. We're entitled to it every now & then, right? Of course having comfort & style would be better.

 

Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles are specifically meant to be worn with heels 2" or higher. (Yes, heels. you read that right.) These insoles fit comfortably in your shoes & drastically help to relieve tired, achy feet. Which means I get to wear those favorite heels quite often now!

I know, you want to know why they work so well. The main reason being the ultra-soft cushion that shifts the pressure away from the ball of your foot. And the less pressure on the ball of your foot means less aches & pains. And those "massaging gel waves" help a little bit too you know.

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

I know I said I'd have all of my reviews from my Spring VoxBox I received from Influenster up last week. But I got really busy with, well, life. On the plus side, I managed to keep my hair pulled back without fixing it a million times a day.

Not only do Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics do their job, but they look great too! Made from a soft & stretchy material that resembles a ribbon (hence the name) with a knot tied at the end, these elastics look great on your wrist or in your hair. Which is great because who wants to wear an unsightly hair elastic on their wrist for everyone to see?!

Our Ouchless Ribbon Elastics held up a lot better than our fishtail braids!

OK, so they look good, but are they really "ouchless"? They sure are! Since they have no metal there's nothing for your hair to get caught in. And I swear, having a wide ribbon band, helps your hair not get tangled up during use. (That's my philosophy anyways.) Which gives my long locks & my 7 year old's baby fines a huge relief!

Olay Fresh Effects: {BB Cream!}

Let's start at the beginning. What on earth does the "BB" in BB cream actually stand for? Beauty Balm! Apparently it's one of Asia's hottest (& normal) beauty sensations. And while there's many different BB creams on the market, Olay fresh Effects has to be the best one I've had the pleasure of trying. (Thank you Influenster!)

This tinted moisturizer (fair to light for me) with Broad Spectrum SPF 15, hydrates  as well as perfects your skin. So there's no need to make your face feel "heavy" by separately adding moisturizer, SPF (if your moisturizer doesn't have it), foundation and concealer. I'm not sure about you, but rattling off that list, just makes me want to wash my face!

My 7 year old recently had soccer camp at the local park. Which meant that the younger two kids got some extra playtime in. And while I slathered the kids in sunscreen, I only used my {BB Cream!}. (My face always seems to burn, but I could definitely use a bit of color everywhere else.) The results, well, I didn't burn. I did get a hint of color on my face, but that was most likely from sweating (we all know that swimming & even sweating requires a waterproof SPF, right?) But it did feel light on my face & had a light floral scent. What all this translates to, is if I know I'll be sweating, I need a light layer of waterproof SPF to go along with my BB cream. Because honestly, I don't think another brand could top this one!

Actually, I think I need to check out the rest of the Olay Fresh Effects line!

Palmolive Fresh Infusions - An Influenster Review

I remember growing up, my Grandma always used Palmolive. Therefore, whenever I hear "Palmolive", I tend to flash back to the past. Until I received my Palmolive Fresh Infusions from Influenster.

My favorite is the Ginger White Tea (it has more of a floral scent) with the Lime Basil a close second. I decided to let my friend try out the Lemon Thyme. (All reports came back that she loved it.) The scents are so strong that you almost get lost in them while you're washing dishes. Oh but I bet that makes you wonder if any of that scent stays on your dishes. The answer, is no. I know this because I tested it...several times. 

What else did I test? How well Palmolive Fresh Infusions cuts grease of course. The end result...what grease? Just a drop & you can see it dissipate. 

But I have to say, one of my favorite features (which is probably overlooked), is the bottle. The bottle itself is tall & round, making it very easy to grab. I don't know how many times I've reached for more dish soap & dropped the bottle in my water. Now with my new Palmolive Fresh Infusions, I can do the dishes without looking like I went for a swim. 

Cuts grease, no soapy residue & smells great! My Grandma would be happy at how much I'm loving Palmolive Fresh Infusions!
