Tasty Tuesday: Garlic Roasted Green Beans with Bacon

There are few things I love to consume as much as bacon. But of course moderation is key, so I like to add a little where I can. Which must be why the hubs, aka "Mr. Anti-Green Vegetable", actually asks for these green beans quite often. Something about them roasting in the bacon drippings, or maybe just the roasting part, who knows.

How To:

•fresh green beans, ends snapped off & rinsed
•onion, minced
•garlic, minced
•bacon, uncooked & chopped
•salt & pepper
•nonstick cooking spray

•Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray & add desired amount of green beans.
•Top with desired amounts of onion, garlic, salt, pepper & bacon (in that order).
•Place in 400 degree oven & roast, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes (time varies by the amount of green beans you have so keep that in mind), stirring every 10 minutes.
