With Christmas fast approaching, you can almost smell the spirit in the air! Oh wait, that's my ScentSationals Wickless Candle.
The kind folks at ScentSationals Wickless Candles were kind enough to send me a Rustic Star Plug-in as well as a Christmas Fragrance Pack containing 6 different wax fragrances.

The Plug-in itself is much larger than the average plug-in (like Glade) that you find at the stores. Which is good since it's a decorative piece all itself, but sometimes bad if you have the oddest placed outlets like I do. (ScentSationals Wickless Candles also offers a warmer that you can place on any hard surface.) But I found the perfect place for my Rustic Star Plug-in, in my bedroom.
The Plug-in melts the scented wax fragrance cubes with a 15 watt candelabra style bulb. It is recommended to only use one cube at a time to avoid any overflow once the wax begins to melt. I'll admit that I was a bit worried about having melted wax exposed, but once I opened up the package & saw that there was a top for the plug-in, there were no worries at all. Just a dilemma of which fragrance to use first!
Each pack of Scented Wax Fragrance Cubes has 6 cubes that easily break apart from one another. And let me tell you, they can make a whole room smell amazing in a matter of minutes!
Silent Night, the scent of myrrh & spice. This is the hubs favorite, it reminds me of his body wash that he loves so much.
Santa's Workshop, a woody, smokey scent with the sweetness of cookies. This transports me back about 25 years to my grandparents house during the holidays.
Christmas Garland is the scent of fresh pine without being overbearing.
Vanilla Cranberry, the name says it all!
Santa's Sugar Cookies smells so good you'll want to eat it. But don't! It's wax, remember?
Candy Cane is my favorite by far! That sweet pepperminty goodness is pure heaven.
To remove the wax from the plug-in in simple. When the unit is cooled & the wax has hardened just unplug it, remove the top, unscrew the base with the bulb & place the ceramic body in the freezer for about 10 min. As the wax freezes, it will remove itself from the ceramic body. If there's still some scent left in the wax, just store it in a zippered sandwich baggie to use later. I've found that the already used bits of wax are perfect for combining scents. (Christmas Garland & Candy Cane is a great combination.)
One lucky winner will receive a Plug-in Warmer of their choice (except the Rustic Star - sorry, I must've gotten one of the last few). & some Christmas fragrances.
