ChopSaver: "For People With Lips"

I have a confession. I'm a bit of a lip balm addict. Some I try & they immediately go to my 7 year old for some reason or another. Others, can't live without them. And ChopSaver is definitely the latter.

ChopSaver was created for musicians by Dan Gosling (a musician himself), to help lip care problems of those who primarily played wind & bass instruments. However now it is highly recognized & recommended by medical professionals for dryness of the lips caused by certain medical conditions or medications. With such a vast array of professional recommendations, I was excited to try ChopSaver for myself!

The first thing I noticed was the light citrus scent, followed by how smoothly it went on. There's no petroleum in this lip balm, so it didn't feel heavy or sticky. And honestly, it seemed to last a lot longer than other lip balms I've tried.

I decided to put ChopSaver to the ultimate test, so I went for a run. It takes me a bit to get into a proper breathing rhythm when I start my run (or come up on a hill), so my lips are pretty bare by the time I'm done. Bare to the point where I swear I can feel them start to crack just on the inside of my lips. So you can imagine my amazement when I could still feel some of the ChopSaver on my lips afterwards!

The best part is the ingredients, which are 100% all natural! (Castor Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter & Avocado Oil just to name a few.) They even make a "Gold" formula that has SPF 15, (hubs is a fan because he uses it for extra lip protection when he's welding at work). A beneficial lip balm with healing properties that feels great, ChopSaver is definitely "for people with lips"!

Keep up with the latest from ChopSaver on Facebook, Twitter & YouTube.

  12. I've never heard of this brand but it looks perfect for hubby. His doc has told him to always wear lip balm with sunscreen because he is so fair skinned and prone to skin cancer. He also manages a site that mostly open air so he has an awful time in the winter. I HAVE to find some. Thanks!

  14. I remember the days of how my lips would feel in school after playing my clarinet for a while, this sounds like it definitely would have came in handy! I get very dry lips and skin in the winter, so a good lip balm is a must. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
