This was a picture I took this afternoon. You can see the clouds & the tree leaning a but from the wind. We were prepping everything before the storm system hit. Which ironically is now. And it sounds nasty out there. Prayers to all who have been affected & prayers to the rest that they are able to stay safe.
It got pretty bad yesterday, a lot of friends and our daughter lost their home to the Tornado in Coal City, and Diamond IL. There is still a lot to clean up, our daughter is staying here until she can move back in to home she was renting and the teen grandkids are helping at our church with feeding and sorting through donations for the families. The church is a shelter for the families that lost their homes.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine such a huge loss. But at the same time, I am so glad that so many people like your daughter & your friends, made it through the storm safely. Hugs!
