I'm considering it an early birthday gift from the local courts, Petit Jury Duty. A gift that I really could do without. You see, all I can think of is what I'm going to do with my kids. I have school/bus schedules for the oldest 2 & then a 1 yr old. And being a SAHM, no one assumes that I would ever need a sitter, let alone for all day. But to be "on call" for jury duty is probably worse. That means there's no concrete planning until after 5:00 PM the day before.
Obviously, I need to do more thinking. And soon because I only have a little under 3 weeks.
My husband got a summons too, but was not picked. I hope your not picked either, I never thought about what a SAHM would do about jury duty. I on the other hand wish they would pick me. It would be fun to do something different for a little bit.
