Love with Food: March Tasting Box

Being a mom of three, I'm always looking for healthy snacks that my kids will enjoy. The problem with that, is that the healthier ones usually cost a bit more. Ok, so that's not really a problem itself, but when you buy something because you think the kids are going to love it & they don't (which usually means that no one else in the house will either), then you're left paying money for something that just went in the trash. After a few times, searching for new healthier snack alternatives can be really discouraging.

In comes Love with Food to save the day!

"Love With Food helps you discover new organic or all-natural snacks delivered to your door every month. Our subscription membership starts as low as $10/month. Every month, Love With Food members will receive a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty snacks which varies based on seasonal themes."

I was blown away by the amount inside this Tasting Box! It came with 9 different goodies that are either organic, all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk (almost all of them were a hit), along with several coupons. I did recognize a couple of the goodies inside, but a majority of them were new to me.

Lightly Salted Plantain Chips by Turbana

These were by far my favorite! The kids all seemed to like them too, but they didn't go back for seconds. Which was fine, because I didn't want to share anyways.
 Annie's Chocolate Bunny Grahams

Annie's anything is always a huge hit in my house & these Chocolate Bunny Grahams were no exception. Although everyone got to try a bite, my son quickly claimed these as just his & had them devoured in no time!

Sea Salt Bops by Good Boy Organics

I've never heard of these chips before, but now I'll have to be sure to keep a stock of these. Not only did my oldest daughter love these, but everyone else did too. Needless to say that this little bag didn't stand a chance!

Nutty Rice Bites with Cranberries by 180 Snacks

Think rice cake meets granola bar & this is what you get. I'll admit that I was a bit leery about this one, but was pleasantly surprised by the taste.

Almond Butter Cacao Truffle by Two Moms in the Raw

I was kind of disappointed that there was only one truffle. Because everyone loved it & insisted on having two bites. Which basically means that I was disappointed that I had to share. It was that good!

Roasted Chickpeas with Sea Salt by The Good Bean

I've never had roasted chickpeas before in my life, but the sea salt had me wanting to try them. Unfortunately, I thought they lacked flavor, although they packed a mighty crunch.

Choco Chews by TruJoy Sweets

These reminded me of a Tootsie Roll. Only chewier. And better.

Hemp Hearts by Manitoba Harvest

I've tried these before & they're pretty good in smoothies. My youngest got all excited & wanted to eat them straight from the bag, until she remembered that she didn't like them.

Moringa Organic Tea by Miracle Tree

I'm a huge fan of tea, especially mint flavored, so this was like pure heaven to me.

Based on the selections in the box, I think my family have found quite a few new "favorites" when it comes to healthy snacks. Best yet that it didn't cost $50 of trial & error to figure that out. The tasting Box is only $10 a month & when you purchase one, one meal is donated to a hungry child in America. Also available is a Deluxe Box ($17/month) which comes with 16-20 snacks & supplies two meals to a hungry child in America. There is also a Gluten Free Box ($24.50/month) which comes with 8-12 gluten-free snacks a month & also supplies two meals to a hungry child in America.
