Snacktastic Saturday: Muesli & Yogurt


I have been trying so hard not to dig into the kids Halloween candy when I want a sweet little snack. But all of those Reese's & Kit Kat's calling my name make it difficult. Actually, I should say made it difficult.

Just a bit of yogurt, topped with some Swiss-style muesli (oats, 7-grain mix, craisins, raisins, dates, almonds, flax seeds & pumpkin seeds). I added some banana chips because I wanted a little sweet/salty action. You could also add a bit of mini chocolate chips if you had to have some chocolate. Luckily for me, this was perfect. And I just so happen to be out of mini chocolate chips.

  1. I had to giggle at this-- Reese's and M&M are my weakness-- so this is a good idea--but it sure is hard to stay out of the kids candy. Yogart and fruit always helps--thanks for letting me know-- I don't feel so quilty now.

    1. LOL! To help me out my 7 yr old decided to eat all of my favorites first. How kind of her...I think.
